BeeZee Gardens started as a family hobby. Years ago, we planted a bunch of apple trees and decided that we might as well put in a small garden. Things snowballed from there. We added chickens, bees, and more garden space than we could have imagined when we first started out.
Our first couple years, we felt fortunate to get enough honey that we didn’t have to buy it from someone else. Now we’re managing hives in three locations, all within three miles of our home base in the Sycamore Knolls neighborhood in Bloomington, Indiana. While we’re still a very small producer, we usually have honey available to sell year-round.
